C.I. Disperse Orange 136 - Introduction
The C.I. Disperse Orange 136 is a dye with the chemical name 2-[(4-aminophenyl)diazenyl]-4-methylphenol. It is an orange crystal, soluble in organic solvents, such as alcohols and ketones, and insoluble in water.
C.I. Disper Orange 136 is mainly used for dyeing textiles, such as polyester, acetate and polyamide fibers. It can be dissolved in dye emulsions at high temperatures and then applied to textiles through processes such as dyeing, printing or exhaust dyeing.
The method for preparing C. I. Disperse Orange 136 can be through the diazo coupling reaction of the raw materials 2,4-dinitroaniline and 4-amino aniline under alkaline conditions, the conjugate is then subjected to an Ortho coupling reaction to produce the target product.
Regarding the safety information of C.I. Disper Orange 136, the dye has low toxicity under regular conditions of use, but it is still necessary to pay attention to safe operation. Avoid inhalation, swallowing or contact with skin, and wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, protective glasses and protective masks. In the use of the process should maintain good ventilation, avoid contact with strong oxidants and acidic substances. If accidentally inhaled or exposed, wash the affected area immediately and seek medical help. Local regulations and guidelines should also be followed.
